Adding a Knowledge Base in Perfect10 Pro

This guide explains how to create and add a knowledge base that can be used by an AI Agent.


Prerequisites

  • You are logged in to your Perfect10 Pro account.
  • You have a file or URL source to be added as the knowledge base.

Steps to Add a Knowledge Base

  1. Open the Knowledge Base Page

    • Use your browser and go to the link above.
  2. Click “Create Knowledge Base”

    • Located in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Fill in Knowledge Base Information

    • Knowledge Base Name → Enter a unique name for the knowledge base.
    • Description → Explain the purpose and contents of the knowledge base.
      Example: "Contains complete information about vegetable products, prices, and delivery process."
  4. Add Knowledge Sources

    • You can add sources from:
      • Upload Files:
        • Click Upload Files or drag & drop files into the upload area.
        • Supported formats:
          PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, CSV, XLSX, XLS, MD, MARKDOWN, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, TIF, TIFF, WebP
        • Maximum size: 90 MB per upload.
      • Upload from Folder:
        • Select a folder to upload all files inside it (subfolders are counted but not uploaded).
      • Import from URL:
        • Enter the website address.
        • The system will scrape data from the page and store it in the knowledge base.
  5. Save the Knowledge Base

    • Click Save or Create.
    • The knowledge base will be ready to use by your AI Agent.

Usage Tips

  • Ensure uploaded files are clear, well-structured, and error-free so the AI can understand them.
  • Use a specific description to make it easier to identify the knowledge base.
  • Update the knowledge base regularly when information changes.

Next Steps

After creating the knowledge base:

  • Enable it in the AI Agent so it’s used in conversations.
  • Test your AI Agent in the Playground to ensure the knowledge base works.
